At Metropolitan Periodontists, we’re looking for a Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team in a clinical support role that goes beyond the traditional hygiene schedule. This is a unique opportunity to grow into advanced perio care, surgical assisting, and patient relationships that actually feel meaningful.

We’ll train you. We’ll support you. And we’ll set you up with everything you need to do your job well, including the small things that matter.

What your days might look like

For the first few months, you’ll focus on periodontal maintenance while getting trained and comfortable with the rest of the role. From there, your day-to-day will grow to include:

• New patient periodontal exams
• Scaling and root planing with Perioscopy® and PerioView®
• Guided biofilm removal using EMS Airflow® (don’t worry, we’ll teach you if you haven’t used it)
• Assisting during surgeries including anesthetic and digital impressions
• post-op support and keeping clinical flow smooth for the team

You’ll also be exposed to some incredible surgical techniques such as:

• LANAP® laser therapy
• PRF blood draws
• SMART bone grafting
• Gingival grafting and SFOT
• Implant workflows

We’re building a collaborative hygiene-assistant model where patients benefit from a team approach, and you get to grow your skills in new and exciting ways.
