Role Summary:
Hope for HIE is seeking a part-time, contract-based Clinical Research Program Manager to serve our community of over 10,000 families, clinicians, and researchers worldwide. This role involves managing clinical trial and research programs, serving as a liaison between key stakeholders, and ensuring data compliance and integrity. This role required a max of 20 hours per week. The role will report to Hope for HIE’s Executive Director and collaborate with various team members and external partners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage clinical trial and research programs, including logistics, administrative, and implementation tasks.
• Serve as the liaison between Hope for HIE and academic and industry research partners, site-level leadership, Medical Advisory Board, and patient-family participants.
• Organize and facilitate the HIE registry workgroup, patient-family focus groups, and advisory committees.
• Collect, track, and analyze data to ensure compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with study investigators and staff, providing training on best practices in consenting neonatal and pediatric patient-families.
• Refer enrolled patient-families to Hope for HIE social work and child life staff for support.
• Maintain up-to-date Human Subjects Research Training as required.
• Present project milestones and updates to key stakeholders and potentially at conferences.

Requirements:

• Experience in clinical research administration and program management.
• Understanding of clinical, regulatory, compliance, and IRB processes.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, video conferencing, program management software, and analytics.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to start mid-late August or early September.
• Must provide references for checks.
• Some Travel: 1-3 time per year to building and maintaining productive relationships with HIE families and other key stakeholders.
