CNC Programmer / Process Specialist

HALCON Furniture, located in Stewartville, MN, manufactures award-winning, modern office furniture of the highest quality. To meet increased demand for our innovative products, we are currently seeking a CNC Programmer / Process Specialist to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to contribute to the Engineering team and bring a positive attitude and strong organizational skills to a dedicated, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret prints and CAD data from drafters.
• Apply machining knowledge to create machine programs and manufacturing instructions.
• Partner with others in the Engineering Department and Operations to complete accurate and timely programming instruction.
• Be an effective communicator of instructions to produce accurate parts.
• Apply problem-solving skills and critical thinking to create manufacturing process plan for furniture parts.
• Assume other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one-year technical education or equivalent experience.
• Computer Programming / Machine Programming experience.
• Experience operating CNC machines.
• Drafting and modeling experience.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving sklls.
• Self-motivated and exceptional attention to detail.
• Finds pride in careful and precise work.
• Strong drive for continuous learning.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency with the ability to learn job-specific software.

Salary Range:
