Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic tour guides who share our love for Colorado and its diverse beauty. If you thrive in a dynamic environment that promotes personal growth and fun, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

• Lead diverse half and full day tours, including hiking and sightseeing adventures, with a focus on personalized client interactions.
• Deliver insightful commentary on the areas visited, covering history, geology, ecology, and current events.
• Safely operate upscale passenger vans to transport clients across various terrains and weather conditions.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for individuals from all backgrounds.
• Follow industry-standard protocols for guiding clients in outdoor and urban settings.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance with clients, colleagues, and partners.
• Opportunities to conduct our city tours and customized experiences.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in driving 14-passenger vans across city streets, mountain roads, and in various weather conditions.
• Colorado resident who appreciates and enjoys the state's natural wonders.
• Demonstrated traits of responsibility, independence, creativity, initiative, and charisma.
• Ability to connect with individuals of diverse backgrounds, fitness levels, ages, and cultures.
• Clean driving record and ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical exam (minor physical) and background check.
• Experience in education, hospitality and/or interpretive guiding a plus
• Experience in leadership, team building, or group facilitation.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications or equivalent

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
