Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Job Overview:
QuesTec Mechanical is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

• Install, repair, maintain or replace commercial HVAC systems
• Follow systematic questioning techniques common in the HVAC industry and troubleshooting guidelines to determine unit/equipment functionality and/or failure
• Communicate unit/equipment issues to manager and HVAC clients
• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork daily, documenting in detail all work performed and/or installed as well as all time associated with calls/projects
• Available to service emergency calls on week days, week nights and weekends, managed on a consistent "on call rotation"

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role, 2 years experience preferred
• Minimum of high school diploma (or equivalent). Associates degree from accredited technical school in an HVAC program preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC/R systems
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
