We are currently seeking a Commercial Loan Processor at our East Village location in Des Moines, Iowa. The Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks with accuracy supporting the Bank’s lending activities and operations. This position coordinates with lenders, customers and external vendors to collect and prepare all required documentation for closings. Ensures that loan packages are complete and documentation correctly prepared within required timelines. The Loan Processor is responsible for preparing, gathering and organizing documentation for Consumer/ Residential/ Commercial/ Agricultural loans as well as letters of credit, renewals, modifications, and change in terms agreements. The Loan Processor is also responsible for boarding of new and renewal loans, extensions, and changes in terms for consumer, residential, commercial, and agricultural loans, ongoing maintenance of existing loans, and monitoring of the Loan Administration Ticklers.
Candidates that express an interest in this invitation must have a minimum of one year of loan processing or relevant experience; knowledge of Laser Pro and FiServ; knowledge and experience with loan documentation, required entity documentation for various business entities, and documentation required to secure the Bank’s lien, including real estate; understanding of State and Federal regulations and compliance requirements; proficient computer skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines; proven ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks; and demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. An Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business is preferred.
