Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in new construction or service calls. Commercial and industrial experience preferred! Residential backgrounds are great, too.

This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of electrical systems and working safely on construction sites.

The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, as well as reading blueprints, specification sheets, and schematics to ensure accurate and efficient work that is code compliant.

One thing that is different about us is we do a wide range of work beyond electrical. Preferred candidates will have a background in construction. All candidates can expect to do work in these areas depending on the project.

Responsibilities

  • Understand electrical code and how to find answers so all work is code compliant.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical systems and make accurate connections.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including low voltage systems, in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Perform construction site work, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a seamless build process.
  • Guide and mentor apprentices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure the safety and integrity of electrical systems.
  • Work effectively and efficiently, meeting deadlines and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Valid New Hampshire Master/Journeyman Electrician license. Vermont and Maine licenses are great additions.
  • Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work with a focus on renovation and construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience working on construction sites, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
