Perfected Claims is looking for a part time Community Engagement and Marketing Representative who is based in northwest Georgia, including the metro Atlanta or Chattanooga areas.

The Community Engagement and Marketing Representative connects our campaign’s purpose, mission, and vision with the community. You will lead the creation and management of engaging social media content, ensuring alignment with community values and high-level messaging strategies. You’ll be a key player in crafting and sharing impactful visuals, videos, and stories that highlight our campaign’s work and outreach efforts.

You will curate relevant and trending content to keep our community informed and engaged while responding authentically to questions, comments, and messages from our followers. You'll foster connections with businesses, organizations, and community leaders to expand our network and drive community engagement.

This role requires you to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including media outlets and creative agencies, to produce consistent and compelling marketing materials. You will also monitor social media performance and provide regular reports to senior leadership to ensure our outreach and engagement goals are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Connect the campaign’s purpose, mission, and vision to the community.
  • Plan and create engaging content, including images, videos, and captions, that align with the community’s perspective, tone, and high-level messaging strategy.
  • Curate relevant and trending content from other sources to share with the audience.
  • Collaborate with our internal and external marketing and creative partners to create compelling visuals and copy.
  • Collaborate on media advisory(ies), press release(s) with local, state, and national media outlets.
  • Collaborate on Run of Shows (ROS) for internal and external video production(s), paid advertisement(s), interview(s), town hall(s) and similar marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate and create local marketing assets such as video(s) and photo(s) for the campaign.
  • Research and propose marketing opportunities aligned with the campaign’s purpose, mission, and vision to the community.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions from followers in a timely and authentic manner. Foster conversations, answer questions, and engage with the audience to build relationships.
  • Address and manage any negative feedback, complaints, or potential PR crises promptly and professionally. Alert senior leadership teams as necessary.
  • Manage social media profiles in Loomly (or similar program) across different platforms, ensuring consistent branding and messaging while tailoring content for each platform's unique audience.
  • Provide social media analytics/reporting to the Community Outreach Supervisor, and/or Sr. Director of Ground Torts.
  • Ensure all content and responses are compliant and approved by legal and ethics counsel.
  • Ensure all content includes approved legal disclaimers.
  • Attend internal events hosted by our campaign and external events hosted by community organizations, businesses, etc to deepen our understanding of the community wants and needs.
  • Connect existing network, community leaders and influencers to partner and engage with the campaign efforts.
  • Create new networks and new organization affiliations to our campaign’s efforts.
  • Consult the Community Outreach Supervisor re: messaging and efforts surrounding gatherings, community events, and internal and external events.
  • Consult with and promote the campaign’s Public Advocate(s), Expert(s), Legal team and Community Outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with our marketing, creative, community outreach, ground and legal operations to ensure our messaging and community engagement is performing to the needs of the community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field is a plus.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in social media management and/or digital marketing.
  • Proven ability to create and manage engaging content (images, video, copywriting) across social media platforms.
  • Proficient with social media management tools (e.g., Loomly, or similar program) and analytics/reporting for tracking performance.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace applications.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging diverse audiences and handling sensitive community interactions.
  • Experience building relationships with community leaders, organizations, and influencers.
  • Ability to manage and respond to negative social media feedback professionally.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Compassion and understanding for people in crisis.

  • Occasional need for travel.
