Community Engagement Coordinator
Full job description
The Arts Council promotes all forms of art in Placer County, including performing arts, arts organizations, arts events, artists and cultural happenings. This position, under the leadership of the Executive Director will be the primary person responsible for setting up and coordinating the Council's outreach booth at community events, which may take place on evenings and weekends throughout Placer County. In addition, this position will take on the task of coordinating the organization's placement of their semi-annual "Arts and Culture Guide" in 75 locations throughout Placer County. This would include use of a company vehicle to service locations on a monthly basis, interact with local businesses and promote Arts Council opportunities.
This individual will also supervise volunteers at the events and interact with the public by providing information, distributing flyers, coordinating giveaways and overseeing displays and booth logistics. This person may be required to drive the organization's car to and from the events and load and unload outreach supplies.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
