Duties

  • Safely operate concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles to transport materials across construction sites.
  • Load and unload concrete, ensuring proper mixing and delivery according to project specifications.
  • Assist with concrete pumping, finishing, forming, and rebar installation as needed on-site.
  • Operate auxiliary heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and mechanical tools to support construction activities.
  • Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, vehicle maintenance, and construction site procedures.
  • Coordinate with project managers and crew members to ensure timely deliveries and efficient workflow.
  • Conduct routine inspections of trucks and equipment, perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, and report maintenance needs promptly.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment including concrete mixers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks on construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation with valid licensing and certifications.
  • Familiarity with concrete pouring, finishing techniques, rebar installation, paving, and concrete forming processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor issues with trucks or auxiliary equipment.
  • Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects or infrastructure developments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read construction plans and follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required.
