Overview:
The Confidential Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to officers and other senior executives. This role involves managing calendars, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, preparing reports, and handling confidential information. The Confidential Administrative Support Specialist will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the organization.
Essential Functions

1. Provides confidential secretarial and administrative support to PILC officers and Program Director; ensures the efficient and effective administration of the programs to which the position is assigned.
2. Maintain confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
3. Provide general administrative support, such as filing, record-keeping, and office supply management.
4. Plan group activities, determine material and supplies needed for the activities, generate purchase requests.
5. Purchase materials in compliance with company policies.
6. Contributes to the success of the organization by meeting individual performance goals and establishing and maintaining productive relationships with vendors and organizations, as applicable.
Administrative
1. Gain and maintain a working knowledge of issues and initiatives that affect the Independent Living community; apply this knowledge, as appropriate to consumer needs.
2. Attend training relative to disabilities, life skills, peer counseling, advocacy, and information and referral services.
3. Excellent MS Office knowledge.
4. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

General
Work a flexible schedule, maximum of 28 hours a week. Employment status: Hourly, non-exempt. Follow through on assignments given by the Program Director, CEO, COO, and meet all deadlines. Work experience as an Confidential Administrative Support Specialist, Personal Assistant, or similar role.
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $14.00 per hour
