Construction Coordinator

Job Description:

Coordinate construction crews on fiber build. Manage all required paperwork and verify placing is correct on prints. Correct safety issues on site. Handle customer complaints. Provide all necessary billing info daily. Pre walk and Wheel all bore shots for footage. Resolve issues that may hinder daily work operations. 90% travel required for this position.

Qualifications:

  • General understanding of outside plant
  • Previous utility construction experience desirable
  • The ability track, coordinate, and manage multiple crews
  • Must work well with others
  • Must have a clean driving record & be insurable to drive company vehicles.
  • General understanding of utility construction drawings
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Punctuality and regular attendance required
  • Willingness to work additional hours

Responsibilities:

  • Salaried position requiring 50+ hour work weeks (M-F, saturdays as needed)
  • Maintain required daily paperwork and turn in on time each day
  • Work with subcontractors to complete construction projects in a timely manner
  • Make adjustments to schedules and crew alignments if necessary to complete projects by due dates.
  • Deal with vendors in a professional manner and meet production expectations
  • Maintain safety expectations at all times among all crews
  • Organize and review drawings/prints

Contact subcontractor for follow up on jobs and answer any questions pertaining to the job

  • Inspect jobs and/or worksite for quality, restoration and compliance with all easement and right of way rules
  • Assist with resolution of customer/homeowner complaints
  • We are growing and the cadence and schedule can change depending on market needs. Currently work is 5/6 days a week. from 7:30am until dark (summertime is 6:30pm)
  • We can train people for this position if you are willing to learn. Willingness to learn and take ownership are huge for this position!!
  • Pay on experience starting at 56k.
