Title: Content Marketer
Location: Roseville, MN 55113
Type: Full-time, Hourly, 40 hours per week
Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm, M-F
Summary
At Dutton Brown, we’re more than just a made-to-order home décor company; we’re developing a first-of-its-kind system of color-coordinated light fixtures, hardware, and more. Our goal is to become the go-to destination for designers, architects, and trend setters looking to find colorful décor that works cohesively well together yet is also easy to integrate into a variety of spaces.
Position Overview: We are seeking a self-driven Content Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and to help propel our brand into its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate has experience developing content for distribution in digital marketing, is resourceful to find tools and talent to develop content, and takes initiative to deliver results vs. waiting for direction.
Compensation & Benefits
- $65,000 - $75,000 salary based on experience

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing and/or content creation, with a proven track record ideally in a design-related industry.
- Strong creative vision with exceptional strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite and similar digital content creation software such as Canva.
- Self-driven with a desire to lead with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for design and relevant experience in a creative or design-related role is a plus.
- Experience with Shopify, Google Ads, Meta Ads, or Pinterest is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a content marketing strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Manage content creation and distribution of various types of content suitable for use on website, social media, email campaigns, and blogs.
- Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
- Manage and collaborate with on-site team and remote content creation professionals (through services such as Upwork) to create cohesive and impactful content.
- Develop a content calendar for distribution on relevant advertising and social channels.
- Develop and manage marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Working with remote digital marketers and using analytics tools to track content performance and adjust strategy as needed to improve engagement and conversions.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and trade program members to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
