Job Title: Financial Controller

Reports To: President, AJS

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary:

The Financial Controller is responsible for a wide-range of activities, including supervising the accounting functions of the company along with some Human Resource and IT responsibilities for the Random Lake location.

Responsibilities: (including but are not limited to the following):

· Direct day-today accounting processes, including cash management, credit and collection, and accounts payable

· Responsible for payroll processing

· Account reconciliations & month end journal entries

· Prepare monthly financial statements and consolidations

· Prepare reports as needed for management

· Reconcile inventory and assist with inventory management

· Sales and Use Tax Filings

· Prepare information for annual audit

· Keep company in compliance with Human Resource related topics-FMLA, ADA, on-boarding, etc.

· Special projects as assigned

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

· Proficient in manufacturing / cost accounting

· Strong understanding of forecasting, sales planning, expense control and collaboration

· Orientation for analysis and details

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Problem solving skills

· Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs – specifically strong with Excel

· Oral and written communication

· Professionalism-Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position
