Join our team at Just Birdies as a Cook. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual with a culinary background and excellent kitchen management skills. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating high-quality dishes that complement our unique atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and menu specifications.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure food quality and safety.
• Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate food preparation and order execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including washing dishes and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist in food inventory management as needed.

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

• Prior experience in a high-volume kitchen or culinary environment preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and teamwork-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
