Full job description

Job Overview

We have an opening for a cook Trainee. You will train with our very experienced cooking staff to be their assistant in the kitchen and learn a lifelong skill that you will always have. Once you are trained and comfortable in the kitchen you will be schedule for a few shifts as the lead cook and pay will increase along with your skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a career in the culinary arts. We will also pay for your enrollment in the Michigan certified food manager class. We do have 2 locations for restaurants. We are located at the Mosquito Inn and Boondock Inn and there maybe some shifts scheduled in both buildings as needed.
