Child Outpatient Therapist
Seeking an Associate or Fully Licensed Counselor (LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW preferred) to provide outpatient mental health counseling services to children, adolescents, and families in a private practice setting in our Wake Forest office on a contractual basis (depending on space available and preference of the therapist). The emphasis of your caseload would be children, adolescents and families. Experience with play or art therapy is preferred. We are a growing private practice expanding across the triangle and looking for a therapist with unique areas of specialty to complement the practice.

*Ability to bill BCBS and Aetna is preferred. Bowman Family Services currently serves children (specializing in play therapy), adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
We offer Christian counseling, art therapy, play therapy, expressive arts therapy, yoga therapy, mindfulness training, and EMDR. Licensed to practice in the state of NC in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, family therapy, or other related human service field required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience providing counseling services is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as Christian counseling, art therapy, and play therapy.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and support patients with PTSD and developmental disabilities.
- Engage in continuous professional development, including obtaining certifications like EMDR and LCMHC.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $95.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
