JOB SUMMARY

MC Surfaces, Inc. is leader in providing fine home surfaces (wood, tile, carpet, countertops and cabinetry) and installation services to builders and homeowners across the state of Texas. We are looking to enhance our team with a highly motivated Countertop Expeditor, who will assist in taking our company to the next level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position requires someone who will be responsible for ensuring that each project has the supplies and inventory it needs to function according to schedule. Their duties will include communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies, problem-solving to reduce the impact of late shipments and submitting purchase orders to vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Process any jobs that are released per account
  • Verify all final selections / change orders (enter orders into database, communicate all scheduling of services with clients, and order products and confirm lead times. Also, following up on all delivery times is imperative to the success of this position).
  • Maintain relationship with current clients (be positive and professional always, utilize proper email and phone etiquette, be able to facilitate the resolution of concerns from clients, expedite all requests from clients and follow up on status, attend builder meetings, if necessary).
  • Schedule warranty claims, either through homeowner or clients via field inspections or repairs. Follow-up on all repairs and warranty items until they are completed.
  • Manage PO/ delivery dates,
  • Proficiency in general administration tasks (email, phone calls, document preparation and control, filing, etc.).
  • Cross-train with other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • College degree preferred,
  • 2 years customer service experience,
  • Experience with Sage 100 (preferred),
  • Top notch listening, verbal, and written communication skills,
  • Able to meet deadlines under pressure,
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail,
  • Efficient with time management,
  • Must be computer proficient,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Preform basic math calculations,
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
