The Role:

As a Credit & Collection Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our Credit team, managing credit assessments, limits, and financial analysis. Your focus will be on evaluating creditworthiness, ensuring adherence to credit policies, and collaborating with various teams for effective customer account management. Your role involves clear communication with customers and timely handling of pending orders in AS400. Your sense of humor remains crucial in navigating the intricacies of credit management.

Responsibilities:

· Assessing creditworthiness based on a credit investigation and financial analysis of new and existing customers.

· Assigning credit limits for new accounts and continually reviewing limits of existing customer accounts.

· Uphold credit policies, including terms of sale and credit limits.

· Communicating with customers via phone, fax, email, and letters to discuss financials, terms, and/or other issues.

· Work closely with AR Collectors, Sales, and AR Managers to effectively manage customers’ accounts.

· Handling other duties and projects as assigned.

· Ensuring on-time review & release of pending orders in AS400 and alerting sales and customer service of any credit issues.

Qualifications:

· Minimum High School diploma, desired associate degree or higher

· 3 years of experience in Business-to-Business collections (preferred)

· Strong skills in verbal and written communication.

· Basic experience with Microsoft Word & Excel

· Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to work closely with others in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time.

· U.S. work eligibility without visa sponsorship required.
