HVAC Crew Leader

If you're thinking about starting a new career in the HVAC industry, EnviroAir Systems is looking for Crew Leaders in the Tampa, FL area to join our staff.

You'd be responsible for leading a committed team in the proper cleaning, remediation and replacement of residential and commercial HVAC Duct systems and AC equipment. EnviroAir Systems Team Leaders work independently or with other teams and technicians to complete successful projects and tasks. Crew Leaders are responsible, reliable, have a good work ethic and excellent customer service skills.

This is a skilled position that provides amazing growth opportunities with no selling.

Crew Leader Responsibilities

• Replace ductwork, air conditioners and complete HVAC remediation projects (residential | commercial).
• Lead a small team of quality-oriented individuals.
• Work with other EnviroAir Systems teams to complete successful projects.
• Demonstrate pride of workmanship on every task.
• Consistently reach productivity and customer service goals.
• Complete administrative tasks: collecting payment, completing documents and forms, etc.
• Work in small spaces, uncomfortable | hot attics and/or ductwork to complete tasks.
• Drive a company owned vehicle to and from residential | commercial jobs.
• Supervise and evaluate team members.
• Manage/maintain company vehicle (organize equipment, inventory, materials, supplies and products).
• Climb and complete tasks from a ladder (1-14+ ft), and other lift equipment safely.
• Lift, load and unload equipment (60+ lbs).
• Display excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance.

Skills and Requirements:

• MUST HAVE HVAC EXPERIENCE
• 1 year in lead position (preferred)
• EPA 608 Universal Certification (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• ASCS/VSMR certification (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience as an HVAC technician and AC change outs
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Possess (required) tools for HVAC trade or willing to acquire them
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Willing to work Saturdays, evenings and out of town as needed (occasional).
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Must be service oriented, a problem solver and have pride in workmanship
• Ability to consult on customer service issues and offer beneficial solutions.
• Able to wear respirator while working
• Work on roofs, attics, crawl spaces and other confined spaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
