Croissant Production Assistant

IZOLA Bakery is looking to hire driven individuals who are passionate about food, baking, and creating AMAZING customer experiences. Named by Yelp as the #1 Bakery in the U.S., we are seeking individuals that have the drive and determination to uphold our exacting standards.

Prior experience in pastry is not required, what really matters to us is that you have optimism, kindness, intellectual curiosity, a strong work ethic, empathy and self-awareness, and integrity.

Specifically for this role, we are seeking team members who can work independently and consistently follow a specific set of process and procedure with care and attention to detail, and have flexible availability including evenings and weekends. You will assist with our croissant production, which will include mixing and laminating our croissant dough, cutting and rolling croissants, maintaining the production equipment, and scaling our dry ingredients.

Must be comfortable with computers and apps. While no prior experience with Google Sheets and Slack are required, must have the ability to learn these two systems.

** Please note that we are currently renovating the bakery and our target re-opening date is early June (dependent on construction progress and permits). We are hiring now to start training, but your full shift schedule will not kick in until we re-open, so we're looking for folks with a little flexibility on this front! **

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
