Position Summary:

Passages International is a leading provider of environmentally-friendly funeral products, dedicated to helping families honor their loved ones in meaningful and sustainable ways. We are currently seeking a committed and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email.

* Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and order processing.

* Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively assist customers.

* Identify areas of opportunities with current customers to upsell and suggest sell. Develop relationships and manage/oversee customer accounts.

* Process payments and ensure customer accounts are current and collecting on past due accounts

* Note/Research/Resolve customer issues in a timely manner. Formulate resolution and response to customer issues. Create a record and categorize any incident/damage/defect/mistake/error brought to attention. Understand customer needs and requirements.

* Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.

* Various projects delegated by other departments.

Job Qualifications:


· HS Diploma or equivalent, associated degree or higher preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, domestic and international shipping, and general office work.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems. (preferred)
  • Attention to detail is paramount; accuracy in order processing and communication is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
  • Good organizational, time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Must be flexible, self-directed and have the ability to handle changing priorities and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently as well collaboratively within a team environment and strive for excellence in all aspects of work.

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Google Drive, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of business-to-business sales and general business best practices.
  • 1+ year of Customer Service Experience.
  • Netsuite Oracle ERP (Preferred)

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
