Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager & Team Supervisor is responsible for leading complex projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role also includes direct supervision and mentorship of the project management team and the customer service team. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader capable of balancing project execution with team development.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage high-priority and complex projects from planning through execution.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication during project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Team Supervision & Leadership:

  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Project Managers and Customer Service Representatives.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team workload and capacity, reassigning tasks as needed to ensure balance and efficiency.
  • Provide training and coaching to improve team skills, communication, and effectiveness.
  • Act as an escalation point for project- or customer-related issues requiring higher-level attention.

Process Improvement & Strategy:

  • Evaluate and improve internal project management and customer service workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and standardization.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic initiatives and department goals.

Required Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing or project management roles
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team or leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce) and ERP (SAP, Epicor) systems
  • Experience in manufacturing, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
