Customer Service Representative

Join our MPM team as an Customer Service Representative! In this role, you will be responsible for conducting outbound calls to potential customers in the target market. You will have the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing clients, identify business development opportunities, and generate sales leads.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will utilize warm calling techniques to engage potential customers, provide product information, pricing, and quotes, RFQ’s, complaints and collaborate with the Director of Sales. Your ability to communicate effectively, persuade customers, and work both independently and as part of a team will be key to your success in this role.

We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, passionate and results driven. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred.

MPM Customer Service position is as follows:

  • Manages sales process via calls, email, web chats to develop and grow relationships with customers.
  • Provide appropriate and correct information to incoming customers regarding the status of orders.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, even when faced with misplaced criticism or frustration.
  • Resolves issues by working with the customer, sales team, and/or any pertinent internal departments.
  • Drive sales through outbound efforts to engage, grow and retain customers.
  • Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely feedback to company management regarding challenges or customer concerns.
  • Social media platform updates
  • Promote sales and coordinate customer visits.
  • Travel to visit with customers as needed. (less than 10% travel may be required)

Qualifications/ Skills Required:

  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities
  • Sitting & standing for long periods of time
  • Walking to other departments throughout the Plant
  • Occasional Lifting of Boxes (Not Exceeding 35 Pounds)
  • Results driven, analytical, passionate, and energetic individual.


  • Sale & Quote Experience preferred.
  • Marketing knowledge preferred.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge preferred.
  • Injection Molding/ Plastics Knowledge preferred.
  • Mattec & Epicor skills preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
