Family owned and operated insurance company located in the beautiful and historic Bellport village is looking to expand their team!!!
The Customer Care Representative- Team Leader (CSR III) is primarily responsible for the oversight of the CSR team. In addition to responsibilities performed by CSR I and CSR II, the CSR III is responsible for identifying new opportunities with customers, including but not limited to cross-sale of another product, financial services, referrals and google reviews. The CSR III is also responsible for managing the overflow of customer service needs and ensuring the CSR team is completing daily tasks on time.
Daily Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Oversee/train CSR I and II
- Responding to client requests in a timely manner via email, phone, and text
- Request referrals
- Add key account notes, including utilizing color-coding system (established by agency)
- Request Google Reviews
- Identify client needs and opportunities for cross sale/services (products, financial consulting, etc) while working with sales team
- Assist customers with complex billing issues
- Escalated servicing/billing issues that may require follow up and case management with State Farm Back Office
- Communicate client retention concerns to upper management
- Other responsibilities as assigned by upper management
Qualifications:
- Personal lines license required
- Life and Health license required

- At least 3 years in a CSR position in the insurance industry
- At least 1 year experience in managing a team
- Extremely organized
- Punctual and excellent attendance record
- Willingness to expand knowledge
- Think out of the box
- Problem-Solver
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written era
- Positive and friendly demeanor
- Self-motivated/Independent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
