We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. We are looking to hire as soon as possible with opportunities starting in June 2025, with the potential to continue teaching throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging choreography and lesson plans tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
• Commitment through the summer (June through August), with the opportunity to stay on for the main season (August-May) and future seasons.
• Teach a range of dance styles and techniques to students of all ages and skill levels.
• Create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages confidence and enthusiasm for dance.
• Provide constructive feedback and individualized support to help students grow.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the studio experience.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
• Stay current on dance trends, teaching techniques, and industry best practices.

Skills

• Ability to teach multiple dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, tap, and more).
• Strong knowledge of dance technique and pedagogy.
• Experience working with children in an educational or studio setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson planning and record keeping.
