We are a funded, fast-growing startup, and we’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer who is excited to build efficient, reliable data flows that power our mission to make healthcare more affordable.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team. You will consolidate data flows between various internal and external systems using file transfers, API integrations, and webhooks. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, security, and scalability, enabling RxSaveCard to deliver top-notch service to clients and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to consolidate data from diverse sources.
• Integrate APIs and automate data flows, optimizing for performance and reliability.
• Implement structured software development processes and practices to maintain code quality.
• Develop test automation to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and address data needs.
• Work across the full tech stack by expanding skills where needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience (more preferred) in software development, following structured development processes
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with various database structures
• Experienced in database design and deployment. Postgres or similar.
• Experience with API integration and automation using structured languages such as Node.js, Java, or Python in a Linux environment
• Ability to explore innovative solutions such as AWS Athena and AI-based deterministic matching capabilities
• Familiarity with test automation practices to support robust, scalable systems

Nice to Have

• Full-Stack Development: Experience or interest in front-end technologies such as Node.js, Next.js/React, HTML/CSS
• BI and Reporting: Experience developing business intelligence reports or supporting team members in data analysis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
