Cornerstone of Hope, Inc. (COH) provides administrative and staffing services to non-profit organizations in the Western Kentucky Region. As such, COH has 1 Data Integrity Specialist position available to be assigned to work at Merryman House located in Paducah, KY.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday

8am-4:30pm OR 8:30am-5pm OR 9am-5:30pm

EXPERIENCE

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with professional case note documentation
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Adobe
  • Skills in resolving problems, planning and organization, exercising independent judgement and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain highest levels of confidentiality.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills, including correct grammar, spelling and communication.
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels.

II. Preferred Education

Highschool Diploma/GED required; Associate Degree in relevant field of study preferred.

III. Preferred Experience

  • One or more years experience in data entry related work.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the guidance of the Merryman House Director of Grants and Compliance, the Data Integrity Specialist is responsible for entering client records and services into the agency database. This position is also responsible for reviewing the documentation submitted for completeness and compliance with agency and funder requirements. This position is a hybrid position where employees are given the option to work remotely as agency needs allow.

JOB DUTIES

Professionalism

  • Provides clear, consistent feedback to staff regarding documentation
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Assures professional case notes and correspondence
  • Adheres to established Performance Expectations regarding provision of feedback to staff.

Initiative

  • Seeks clarification and additional guidance promptly when needed
  • Takes initiative to solve problems
  • Provides suggestions for improvement in processes, etc., as needed
  • Assists other departments and participates in fundraising efforts as able

Timeliness

  • Enters documentation within two days of submission unless extenuating circumstances occur-such circumstances are communicated to supervisor promptly
  • Adheres to Performance Expectations regarding minimum rates of entry
  • Ensures that documentation is kept up to date as required to meet all reporting deadlines
  • Makes good use of time and practices strong time management and prioritization skills

Knowledgeable

  • Maintains familiarity with documentation requirements of the Merryman House and its funders
  • Attends trainings relevant to position
  • Understands agency policies and procedures and clearly communicates those regarding documentation to staff and members of Leadership

Integrity

  • Assures that documentation is honest, accurate, and compliant to the best of ability and reports problematic documentation to staff and appropriate supervision as directed
  • Provides feedback on documentation fairly and without bias
  • Accepts personal responsibility

Productivity & Quality of Work

  • Enters relevant agency documentation into the agency database and other tracking mechanisms, as assigned (services, intakes, community engagement activities, etc.)
  • Verifies that documentation submitted is accurate, complete, and compliant with the Merryman House and funder documentation standards
  • Completes tasks as assigned
  • Adheres to Performance Expectations regarding documentation errors and quality assurance
