CODE Plus, Inc., an IT government contractor, located in Fairfax, VA with offices in Huntsville, AL and Oak Ridge, TN have been in business for 28+ years and have been servicing different agencies within the Federal sector. Currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with expertise in DevSecOps and experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in harnessing data-driven insights to drive our organization's success.


  • Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Develop predictive models to support business decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions seamlessly into DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Ensure security considerations are integrated into the end-to-end data science workflow.
  • Apply SAFe principles to streamline and optimize the data science development lifecycle.
  • Work within Agile Release Trains to deliver value incrementally and iteratively.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, security professionals, and other stakeholders to align data science efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Effectively communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the data science and DevSecOps workflows.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our data science capabilities.


  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and tools, ensuring the integration of data science solutions into secure and efficient pipelines.
  • Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience working in Agile Release Trains.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
