Day Care Substitute Teacher
$16-16.50 per hour
Mon- Friday
Morning shifts and afternoon shifts available

Infant Class, Toddler Class, Pre K Class available, must be flexible.

Job Description:
To fill in for a lead teacher or assistant teacher whose responcibilities were to implement or to assist with implementing learning activities for children and oversee their day to day care while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety and welfare of the children and staff. To create lesson plans that satisfy the requirements of each age group including 4-5 subjects daily depending on age. Curriculum includes Christian values. You will receive lesson plans if you are filling in for the lead teacher or jump in and follow along and help if filling in for an assistant teacher.

Qualifications/Experience:
The positions require at least one year of experience with children under 6 years of age, valid driver’s license and own car. First Aid and CPR certified needed, will provide opportunities for training if you are not cpr certified.

Responsibilities:
-Safety and well-being of the children and staff
-Compliance with current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures
-Facility and classroom maintenance
-Care and education of children
-Cleaning and sanitizing

Qualifications:

  • One or more years of center experience highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
  • CPR and First Aide Certification highly preferred.
  • Must meet state specific guidelines

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
