Our company is looking for delivery drivers to join our team in the emerging NYS Recreational Cannabis Industry! You will be among the first legal cannabis delivery drivers in the North Country! Delivery drivers can deliver pre-orders, as well as carry an unsold inventory in their vehicle to sell while on the road to customers via an "Express Menu" option. This adds a level of complexity that is unique to the NYS Cannabis industry. Our drivers must be able to quickly adapt to the relevant technology in order to ensure our customers a seamless delivery process

At Elevate ADK, the Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for a daily route of recreational marijuana deliveries and processing transactions for customers receiving delivery service. The Delivery Driver position is a hybrid role that combines driving a delivery vehicle, facilitating customer transactions all while working in a professional manner with our partners.

Responsibilities

• MUST be able to work some weekends
• Follow Elevate ADK Policies & Procedures for daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulations
• Provide exceptional services on behalf of Elevate ADK
• Provide product delivery service to customers addresses
• Ensures the safe transport of product, that manifests are complete with correct information, package quantities, dates, times, and mileage
• Follow assigned routes and deliver product according to OCM regulation.
• Model best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customers’ expectations and builds a long-term rapport
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of sensitive customers information
• Accurately receive, prepare, and complete customers’ orders and sales utilizing point-of-sale app on Ipad.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is stocked, clean, and in proper operational order
• Work in close coordination with a team of other Delivery Drivers, Inventory Specialists, Security/dispatching personnel and management.
• Supports the teamwork effort in both starts of day and end of day procedures
• Act as a liaison between customer and Elevate ADK management to continually improve the customer experience
• Appropriately escalate customer conflict or complaint, inspiring long-term patient relationships and loyalty to our brand
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

Skills

• Age 21 or over (Required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• Clean driving record (Required)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen (Required; THC is not a disqualifier)
• Ability to be flexible with varying work hours to cover all transportation needs
• Excellent verbal communication and human relation skills, with strong attention to detail
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, point of sale software
• Must successfully complete a role-specific training program
• Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner
• Must be available to work weekends and applicable holidays
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Demonstrates high emotional intelligence
• Ability to effectively multi-task
• Must be highly organized and have extreme attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour dependent on experience.

Day range:

• Mon-Friday
• Weekend availability - Every weekend

Experience level:

• Minimum 1 year of Delivery or Retail or Customer Service experience

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• All orders leave from our Saranac Lake store.
• Must be fine with commute.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Licensed driving: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Work Location: Deliveries all leave from our Saranac Lake store. Drivers will be delivering to the surrounding area including, Paul Smith's, Tupper Lake, Lake Placid, Elizabethtown, Keene, Keeseville, Plattsburgh,
