POSITION OVERVIEW

The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant is responsible to deliver materials, tools, and equipment to Arrow work sites and return them to the Arrow warehouse as directed.

The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant will also assist the Warehouse Manager, including processing orders, material returns, maintaining warehouse inventories of materials, tools, and equipment, tools/equipment maintenance, Pre-Fab operations, and office and grounds maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum amount of education or formal training and experience that are required for this position:

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or strong desire to be in this
• Experience: Minimum 2 years warehouse/delivery experience preferred. Must have the desire and commitment to work in this industry and in sometimes harsh environments. Willingness to work in a team
• Must be able to use power and hand tools in a safe, efficient
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record (CDL A preferred).
• Willingness to obtain CDL (training will be provided).
• Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to detail and timely follow-through.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Able to work effectively in stressful, time-sensitive environments.
• High standard of integrity and professionalism.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Fills/picks orders and delivers materials, tools and equipment to work sites

• Loads and Unloads trucks and trailers in warehouse and on work sites as needed

• Returns materials from work sites and assists with return for vendor credit

• Helps with tracking of tools and equipment for projects from distribution to return

• Assists with small tool and equipment maintenance and repairs

• Maintains materials inventory in warehouse as instructed

• Helps with Pre-Fab operations and completion of project orders

• Maintains materials in consignment area as instructed

• Completes and maintain documentation by paper and electronic filing

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to consistently wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed (safety goggles, hardhat, etc.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work in physically demanding situations requiring extended sitting, standing and walking, lifting (up to 51 lbs.), accessing work areas from stairs and scaffolding, repetitive motion and other challenging physical work situations

• Must be able to drive and travel as needed for work assignments.

• Must be able to work minimum 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and additional hours and days as needed for work completion.

• Job requires working in all elements, depending upon time of year (heat, cold, rain or snow).

• Must possess good vision and hearing (normal or corrected).
