We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Champagne Family Dentistry in South Meadows. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and assisting dental professionals in providing high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities:

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Prepare patients for dental procedures by taking vital signs and reviewing their medical history

- Perform X-rays and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Provide chairside assistance for various dental procedures including prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry

- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed

- Manage the dental reception area when needed

Experience:

- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures

- Proficiency in taking X-rays and maintaining dental records

- Familiarity with infection control practices

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
