Interior Designer

Job Overview:

McQueen Design Group, a boutique design firm based in Upper St. Clair, PA, is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team. As a part of the McQueen Co. family of design and construction brands, we specialize in high-end residential interiors, guiding our clients through a seamless and custom design process. As an Interior Designer at McQueen Design Group, you are a key team member to bring our clients' visions to life. This position requires a balance of creativity, technical skill, and client management. You will work closely with clients, guiding them through the design process—from concept to completion—ensuring an exceptional experience and stunning results.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead clients through the residential design process, providing expert guidance and creative solutions
• Develop and present design concepts, inspiration boards, and product selections
• Efficiently collaborate with clients, consultants, vendors, and team members during all phases of the project
• Manage project timelines, budget allowances, and client expectations effectively
• Skillfully address obstacles throughout an evolving design process

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of qualified experience in residential design
• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field / can be substituted for experience
• Proficiency in design software (Revit preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and client relations skills (sales experience preferred)
• Thorough understanding of design principles and product knowledge
• Motivated self-starter with proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Flexibility and adaptability to fast-paced working environment
• Enthusiastic approach to problem-solving

Compensation range starts at $65k and will be commensurate with experience.
