The following efforts are key, and will be accomplished in collaboration with the senior leadership team:

Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, foundations, corporate sponsors, and partnerships, organizing site visits and connecting supporters with leadership.

Oversee grant writing efforts, including research, proposal writing, and reporting requirements. This includes managing outside consultants on an as needed basis, particularly for events and grant-writing.

Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns.

Create marketing materials and donor communications.

Work closely with the Board of Directors (particularly the Development Committee), the Executive Director and key staff to align fundraising strategies with the organization’s mission and values.
