Dialysis Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a certified and experienced Dialysis Patient Care Technician (CCHT) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing hemodialysis procedures on patients with chronic kidney disease, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are functioning properly, and monitoring patients during treatment. In addition, the Dialysis Patient Care Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare dialysis equipment and supplies
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and reactions during treatment
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dialysis equipment
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
• Maintain accurate medical records and update patient charts

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification required
• Knowledge of dialysis equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as necessary

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a dialysis setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
