However, Nectar also develops websites for its clients and manages their paid social and search along with their email marketing. About the role

We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Digital Media Ad Buyer to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead the planning and execution of paid advertising strategies across multiple digital channels. You’ll be responsible for overseeing ad account performance, managing budgets, identifying optimization opportunities, and communicating results to clients.

This role requires strong platform experience (particularly in Google Ads, Meta, and Bing), solid analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. You will also play a key role in training and delegating to virtual assistants to help execute campaign support tasks.

This is a full-time, fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the strategy, setup, management, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across search, display, video, and shopping platforms.
  • Implement and troubleshoot tracking solutions to ensure accurate measurement of conversions and key performance metrics across client websites.
  • Act as the strategic lead for assigned client accounts, ensuring all advertising efforts are aligned with business objectives and growth goals.
  • Support advertising audits and contribute to paid media proposals for prospective clients, providing strategic recommendations based on account structure, performance, and opportunity analysis.
  • Oversee and manage virtual assistants, including the development of SOPs, training, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Conduct bi-weekly client calls and maintain regular communication to provide updates on KPIs, campaign performance, and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaign strategies align with broader marketing initiatives and creative direction.
  • Manage and refine tracking infrastructure using Google Tag Manager to ensure reliable data collection and reporting accuracy.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to uncover insights and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance metrics, competitive intelligence, and evolving platform best practices.

Primary Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Bing.
  • Strong grasp of PPC strategy, including bid management, audience segmentation, and budget pacing.
  • Proficient in campaign analytics and reporting, with the ability to forecast performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Experienced with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for accurate tracking, measurement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Understanding of SEO integration to align paid and organic efforts for greater overall impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in client-facing roles.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fully remote environment.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Adaptable and proactive, able to navigate shifting priorities and contribute to a fast-paced team environment.
