Job Description

Role Description:

The Direct Care Coordinator will support the Direct Care department via administrative and organizational tasks. The Direct Care Coordinator will be responsible for multiple objectives for ASI, which include, but are not limited to:

  • New Hire Onboarding: Collect and compile new hire paperwork for Direct Care Providers and submit completed files to HR.
  • Maintain Digital Personnel Records

a. Send email reminders for expiring documentation

b. Maintain records for CPR/First Aid certification, auto insurance, vehicle registration, driver's license, etc.

c. Update internal databases regarding documentation.

  • Direct Care Support and Updates

a. Download Action Letters, Notices of Action, and PCISPs and upload the files to internal participant files

b. Provide Notice of Action information to regional teams

c. Update participant hours in AxisCare

d. Email PCISPs to participants and/or parents/guardians

  • Recruitment assistance

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/equivalent required, additional education or experience preferred
  • Competence in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Ability to handle confidential information and keep accurate records
  • Strong email and phone communication skills
  • Ability to work with families of individuals with Autism from culturally and/or socio-economic diverse backgrounds
  • Employee must provide own computer or laptop for position
