Full job description

Respite Care of San Antonio is hiring Direct Care Providers for our 24/7 residential children’s homes! Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding job? Do you have a passion for working with children? If you answered "Yes!" to these questions, then we have a great opportunity for YOU!

  • Starting at $15.00/hour with consideration for education and experience
  • Saturday $16.00/hour
  • Sunday $17.00/hour
  • Day Shifts Available- 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Friday through Monday
  • Day Shifts Available- 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Sunday through Thursday
  • Day Shifts Available- 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday
  • Evening Shifts Available- 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday
  • Evening Shifts Available- 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Friday through Monday
  • Overnight Shifts Available- 10:00 pm - 6:00 am, Tuesday through Saturday
  • Overnight Shifts Available- 10:00 pm - 6:00 am, Friday through Monday

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year direct care experience and/or childcare experience
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass all background checks
  • Ability to attend 40 hours paid new hire orientation training
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities preferred
