HealthSource Integrated Solutions (HIS) is looking for highly competent Director of Clinical Operations to join our team! HIS, a leader in crisis intervention services in the state of Kansas, provides 24/7 telephonic and support to individuals in crisis, level of care screening, and tele-therapy. We are looking for a compassionate, hardworking professional to join our amazing team.

Position Summary

Reporting Directly to the CEO, the Director of Clinical Operations for HIS is responsible for the direction and ongoing management of all clinical services operations. Performance outcome categories for this position include: clinical service delivery effectiveness, the performance of managerial and supervisory staff working under the Director, the quality of the patient experience, the efficiency and productivity of the clinical providers, operating budget management, and optimization of related facilities and clinical services assets. The Director of Clinical Operations is also responsible for the maintenance and availability of operations performance scorecards, new clinical programming implementations, and day-to-day operations problem solving efforts of the operations management team.


  • Provides supervisory oversight to the Call Center operations department, including management of staff, to ensure adequate 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week coverage.
  • Establishes, gains approval of and ensures the development of the annual departmental operating and capital budgets, including accepting accountability for operating within approved budget limits.
  • Oversees and monitors the administration of the department’s employment related activities in accordance with HIS policies and in a consistent and legally responsive manner which includes the principles of equal employment and affirmative actions, including, but not limited to the following: recruitment, selection, hiring, training, development, retention, setting and monitoring standards of performance, promotions, transfers and terminations.
  • Promotes a positive image of HIS by initiating, developing and sustaining effective business relationships in the communities served by HIS.
  • Provides ongoing reporting pertaining to call detail analysis, call volumes and call center clinician performance.


  • Current licensed Master’s level clinician or registered Nurse required, clinical license preferred.
  • Substance Abuse Professional Certification preferred.
  • Five (5) years supervisory and/or program management experience required.
  • Three (3) years crisis management experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and assessment of psychiatric disorders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
