We provide organizations in 20+ countries with the tools to grow, helping them expand their reach and impact. Join our team as the Director of Finance & Human Resources to play a key role in this mission.
What You’ll Do:
As the Director of Finance & HR, you will oversee the financial health and HR operations of Unseen, partnering with an external finance company to ensure smooth financial transactions and compliance. Provide financial insights to the Executive Team and Board, oversee the annual audit, and ensure compliance with 990 filings and state registrations.
- Human Resources (40%): Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies, manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintain positive workplace culture for remote employees.
- Strategy & Operations (20%): Work closely with executives to provide insights on finance and HR strategy. Lead initiatives on team well-being, performance management, and development. Update policies and provide operational support as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or business-related field.
- Proven experience managing finance and HR functions in a small business or nonprofit setting.
- Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, HR compliance, and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other HR/finance tools.
- High level of integrity, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Familiarity with growing, startup-style environments. You’re proactive and enjoy change.
- You align with our anti-trafficking mission and stand against all forms of exploitation.
