About United Way of Pueblo County (UWPC)
- Vision: Be a catalyst for sustainable community-driven change to build a healthy future with empowerment for all.
- Mission: To serve as a trusted community leader by leveraging resources in support of collaborative solutions.
- History: Since 1923, United Way of Pueblo County has played a crucial role in our community by providing basic needs and creating opportunities that have lasting effects. Although the organization has had name changes over time, such as the Community Chest, United Fund, and finally, United Way, its focus has always remained the same — to serve our community, build resiliency, and make this region a better place for all who call it home.
- Impact: In just the past five years, we have leveraged more than $17.6 million through funds raised, emergency assistance administration, in-kind contributions, volunteer time, and dollars reinvested into the community through our outreach efforts and programs. We currently serve 14 counties in southeastern Colorado.
