The Director of Sales and Marketing is a “working manager” role. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned sales executive who possesses business acumen, drive for results, and track record of performance. Our sales strategy calls for both maximizing the penetration of our products and services into our customer base as well as driving the acquisition of increased market share in our targeted regions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement clear and quantifiable business development strategies which will deliver profitable growth to business.
  • Elevate the sales team’s effectiveness by leveraging their diverse skills and perspectives to gain market share.
  • Enhance the organization’s competitive edge through existing product innovation and new product development in the food merchandising equipment marketplace.
  • Interface directly with key customers to ensure continued business relationships leading to profitable growth.
  • Develop sales pipeline to achieve sales and profitability results.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 15 years in a sales operation, business planning, or sales support management role.
  • Minimum 5 years in sales management
  • Excellent sales / product strategy development and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport across the company and our customers.
  • Experience in the Foodservice Industry, either Commercial or Residential, preferred.
  • Product management and digital marketing experience preferred.
  • Travel is required for this position (25% - 40%).

  • Attract and develop sales staff
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Define processes that drive desired departmental outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
  • Ensure the compilation of information and data capture related to customer and prospect interactions by sales force
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
