Door and Millwork Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Door Shop & Millwork Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be integral to the production process, working with various door slabs to meet both residential and commercial needs. Your expertise will contribute to customizing and preparing our products, ensuring quality and safety at every step.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and Execute Work Orders: Follow instructions provided by the department supervisor to complete assigned tasks.
• Tool Operation:
• Utilize hand tools (hammers, saws, screwdrivers, chisels, pliers).
• Operate power tools (routers, power saws, drills, screw guns, sanders, air nailers).
• Certification Opportunities: Once certified, operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and scissor lifts.

Physical Demands

To succeed in this role, you must be able to:

• Stand for extended periods (up to 3 hours).
• Lift up to 70 pounds overhead repeatedly throughout your shift.
• Perform repetitive motions with hands and arms for tasks such as sanding.
• Communicate effectively over the noise of power tools.

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
• Loud noise levels; dust masks, safety glasses, and hearing protection will be provided.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic carpentry skills.
• Verbal communication skills.
• Basic math abilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret printed work orders.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
