Full job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Drafter to join our dynamic development team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation of detailed drawings and plans for architectural projects. You will work closely with architects and other team members to translate conceptual designs into precise technical drawings using industry-standard software.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD and REVIT software.
- Prepare drawings for construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Incorporate design changes and revisions as directed by project stakeholders.
- Ensure drawings comply with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT software.
- Strong technical drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working on multifamily housing projects.
- Experience working on historical projects.
- 3-5 years of experience working in an architectural office.
- Knowledge of other architectural software tools and technologies.
Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering, or related field, preferred. However, equivalent experience will also be considered.
