We seek an experienced E-Commerce Data Specialist to join our amazing Blue Marble E-Commerce team in beautiful Ashland, Oregon. The E-Commerce Data Specialist is primarily responsible for compiling, verifying, and assessing data within the e-commerce department to provide reports that drive strategic decisions within the department. The incumbent must be an advanced Excel user. This role will assemble all relevant data to inform demand planning and financial forecasts. The E-Commerce Data Specialist will also provide reports and data analysis of e-commerce activities to other departments as needed.

This is a "hands-on" role where you will be an essential part of our mission to inspire creativity and active play in children worldwide with thoughtfully designed products that engage the imagination.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Compile all relevant reports from e-commerce platforms.
  • Maintain current Power BI reports and be able to pull custom configurations as requested.
  • Create/Maintain ETL Logic.
  • Assemble full-year demand forecast for all e-comm platforms and assess/update quarterly.
  • Communicate demand needs internally and externally to ensure adequate inventory to cover demand in all locations.
  • Assess and track all factors driving demand and sales for more accurate forecasting.
  • Assist all e-comm team members in using data available for decision-making.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel knowledge is required - Must have extensive experience using Excel for data analysis, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, sumifs, conditional formatting, and visualizations.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Demand planning experience.
  • Ability to identify and correct errors.
  • Power BI proficiency - Ability to utilize and maintain Power BI datasets preferred.
  • Experience building and publishing dashboards.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Curious and collaborative.

Workplace Arrangement
