About Us: Entertainment Psychology Media (EPM) is a new dynamic media platform that focuses on telling compelling stories within the entertainment and psychology sectors. Position Overview: We’re seeking a passionate part-time Editorial Intern to join our team and help manage the publishing process for our growing content library. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who’s eager to learn more about digital publishing, content management, and editorial work, with a special focus on conducting interviews.
This position starts as an internship, offering hands-on experience with the potential to transition into a contracted publishing role based on performance, audience engagement (views, shares, comments), and your contributions to the success of EPM.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in publishing and managing articles across various platforms (website, social media, etc.)
- Coordinate with writers to ensure timely delivery of articles and content
- Conduct in-person or video interviews with clients or subjects, ensuring a smooth and professional process
- Review and proofread content to ensure it aligns with EPM’s voice and editorial guidelines
- Help develop and maintain editorial calendars and schedules
- Track the performance of published articles and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to increase content visibility
- Contribute ideas for future content and brainstorm engaging topics within entertainment and psychology
Qualifications:
- Experience in conducting interviews (in-person or via video) with clients or subjects
- Strong interest in entertainment, psychology, and storytelling
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Familiarity with WordPress (or other CMS) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and the desire to grow professionally
Compensation:
- This is aninternship position to start, with the potential to transition into a contracted freelance publisher role after 3-6 months based on performance.
- Contracted role would include a competitive rate per article or monthly retainer, depending on performance metrics like audience engagement and content success.
