Primary teaching positions are available for Kindergarten through 5th grade. School is opening in August 2023 in Urbana, IL. Under the general direction of the administrators, teachers will provide educational experiences for the “whole child”-- including subject-matter and skills that facilitate a child’s growth into a mature and capable adult. Teachers will prepare and execute full teaching plans according to the school’s requirements. Teachers will adhere to the staff code of conduct and act as excellent role models for students. Teachers must respect the beliefs and practices at Hidaya Academy.

Teachers will teach combine classrooms of kindergarten and first grade, second and third grade, fourth and fifth grade.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, with certification and endorsements.

Preferred Experience: 2-3 years teaching students at the elementary level (K-5th)
