Vert Energy Group, an Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company, is seeking a highly ambitious and outgoing Energy Efficiency Salesperson who is interested in joining the fast-growing Energy & Sustainability Industry. We work commercial building owners such as offices, hotels, and retail centers. Sales experience in these fields is a plus, but not required if you have a track record of success. You must be great at opening doors and getting appointments from existing clients. You must also be highly self-motivated, a terrific presenter and communicator, and an out-of the-box thinker.

Candidates should possess strong technical capabilities including strong proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and control systems. You must possess strong verbal skills and phone etiquette. This position entails making outbound calls on a daily basis to our existing clients to discuss their needs for Energy Upgrades such as lighting, HVAC etc., as well as travel to client sites to take pictures and do a walk-thru of their existing equipment. Prior experience in the construction, HVAC or similar industry is preferred, as you need to be able to identify the equipment on the client sites. This is an entry-level position with plenty of room for growth. Depending on your interests, you can gain experience in all facets of successfully managing and growing a company.

  • Interact with customers to address questions or concerns about building energy related questions.
  • Attend internal and external meetings as required.
  • Timely response to client e-mail and phone messages
  • Execute project tasks on time and with technical proficiency.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in unconditioned rooms on occasion.
  • Must have ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
