Position: Enrichment Dog Walking Specialist

Position Description:

Adynamic position that brings creative and energetic daily enrichment and choice to canines outdoors. An opportunity to join D.C.’s premier pet care provider. The ability to earn a living wage, with full benefits (during daytime hours 10 AM – 4PM) and significant opportunity for advancement.

As the only Enrichment Dog Walking company, Dog Montessori School and Fear Free Grooming Salon in the nation’s capital, the demand for our services is greatly outpacing the supply of qualified specialists.

That is where you come in. We are seeking fun, flexible, goal oriented and self-motivated specialists to join our team. Patrick’s Pet Care is a mission-driven, women-managed, and gay-owned business that celebrates diversity in all its forms. Everyone who works here is paid well, with generous benefits, and the expectations are high

What Success Looks Like for an Enrichment Dog Walking Specialist:

An enrichment dog walking specialist is a dog enthusiast with a knowledge of, or interest in learning about animal behavior and dog training.

From 10 am to 4pm you will lead 1-2 of our carefully screened customers’ pets on 30-45 exploration or exercise walks in various neighborhoods of Washington, DC. As an Enrichment Dog Walking Specialist, you will be empowered to plan activities for the enrichment walk based on the dog’s specific personality and holistic needs!

At the end of each appointment, the specialist will communicate progress toward enrichment goals through written and verbal communication with customers.
